Thankful Celebrations

The Sunday before Thanksgiving we went to Layton to visit with the Jacos. It was also a belated birthday celebration too (which Hayden loved, of course). We had a lovely dinner and it was wonderful being able to visit with eachother.

Feast Days

A couple of days later, Hayden had a feast in his kindergarten class. Everyone is in charge of bringing something and then the kids all share their food. It's also a great way to encourage kids to try some new foods. I tried to get Hayden to eat olives, but it was a no-go. I even explained (and demonstrated) how fun olives can be by putting them on your fingers. Hayden just thought that was gross (oh well, I at least gave it my best effort).

Thanksgiving morning...making turkey pancakes!

Yummy! Hayden's enjoying his festive breakfast!

Time to make and decorate turkey cupcakes to enjoy later on after dinner. Hayden's doing a fantastic job with the decorating!

A quick pic of me at my Mom's house...my mom and sis asked to be edited out (they didn't like the pic of themselves...GIRLS!!!)

One of the boys and Hayden's (?) thumb
